i am most comfortable experimenting in my own yard -- my clients appreciate that :)

i've had enough of the affectionately referred to "mulch pit" and am committed to having a real patio

of course in my yard, one cannot have a patio without first having a level area....and a retaining wall...and drainage...and a pathway to get to it...

can you see the problem?  talk about a can of worms! 

but...i am going to go about this systematically and with the help of my husband and his muscles...we're gonna "get er

Houseplants

I've been experimenting with houseplants this winter.  I used to have tons of green things growing in the house, but then the little humans entered the scene and it all went to pot...(hah)
I've had great success without spending too much...I found attractive plants at the "new" Home Depot by Montgomery Mall, as well as ceramic crocs and pseudo-ceramic crocs.
Look for photos on the website...as well as some "pointers"
