from wild to wonderful...

i love love love good bones!  this garden has lovely bones and great scale...its been overlooked but that's easy to take care of...here are some "before" pics...

dig up, split, plant...repeat...

hidden in the lush bed of weed-grass are several liriope that will get dug up, split up, and re-planted...in a few years we may need to do it again as the plants get fuller...

day two...

the garden is really starting to look deliberate and well-planned...the plants are well located, with room to grow...

day three...

not a single plant was purchased for this project...we were able to transplant and/or divide existing plants...how rewarding!
