Informal, unscripted, organic and free-flowing

Gardens should add to the landscape, not dominate it

Full and lush border gardens with a distinct edge between the garden and the lawn

An edge provides just enough structure so the garden does not look chaotic

A garden should not be hard to maintain.  With proper planting and mulching, weeds are kept to a minimum

Resourceful…use what you have, divide existing plants for new (free!) plants

Be patient…your plants and gardens will grow with time…some things are best left unhurried

The Simple Consult
:
Need some suggestions but plan to do the work yourself?  No problem!  I am happy to advise on existing plant/weed removal, new plant selection/placement, as well as, plant relocation.  You will be amazed with what you can do with what you might already have!

What the…?:

Perhaps you just moved into your home (and yard) and don’t know what is what.  I can help you isolate the good stuff from the bad.

Feeling overgrown/overwhelmed:
Your garden might just need a good pruning to help keep it in check…a good pruning will also keep your plants healthy, lush and beautiful.

Design and Implement
: Not happy with your current gardens or lack thereof?  Show me what you like and what you don’t like.  Based on my experience, I will make some recommendations.  Together we will outline a plan and I will get to work!

Garden Maintenance
:   My job does not stop there!  With your permission, I want to visit your gardens regularly!  As your plants mature, many can be divided and placed in new gardens or simply spread out for a full, lush garden.  This is my passion!  Gardens that explode with new colors and textures as the seasons change…never quite knowing what is going to pop up next!
